Not every STEYR air rifle has its name on it. Especially older models are not easy to identify.

To identify the LG 88 and the LG 91, have a look at the serial number. Up to no. 503500 it's an LG 88, from 503501 onwards it's a LG 91.

Cylinders for the LG 88 are, unfortunately, no longer available. We are also unable to repair these cylinders.

An adapter for this rifle is, however, available. Using this adapter you can use the CO2-cylinders of the LP 1, which you may still find in your shooting club.

1. Do not fire the weapon until the air cylinder is totally empty. In this way, pumping does not take as long or require as much effort.
2. After filling, turn the air cylinder one turn. Then open the drainage screw to allow water to drain out of the pump.
It is important that the air cylinder is NOT turned more than one turn, because otherwise the o-ring does not seal perfectly and it does not drain correctly.
3. Retighten the srew.
