Generally no. The muzzle energy must be specified when ordering. Exception for the Challenge FT / HFT / HFT Hunting with caliber 4.5 mm/.177 with 16 joules.

By changing the black standard sealing washer to the gold sealing washer, the muzzle energy is reduced from 16 to 7.5 joules - without any further changes to the system being necessary.

• When changing the energy, the respective national laws must be considered!

Our air guns are clamped on the housing carrier (remove the front stock if necessary - see photo). Shooting is done at a paper target. A shot pattern with 5 or 10 (Pro X) shots is included with the weapon.

• 1 shot air rifle with 7,5 joules at 10 m
• 1 shot LG air rifle with 16-40 joules at 50 m
• 5 shot air rifle with 7,5 joules at 10 m
• 5 shot air rifle with 16-40 joules at 25 m

• We test various ammunition and achieve excellent results.
• We therefore do not recommend any brands.
• Most rifles are shot with ammunition with a head size of 4.49 mm.
• Ammunition with a head size of 4.48 mm or 4.50 mm is also suitable.

As the design of CO2 rifles differs too much from the design of a compressed air rifle, we do not offer the conversion to compressed air for rifles.

However, it is possible to convert the LG 88 to a different CO2 air cylinder.

Not all air rifles have the exact name. The older models in particular are not always easy to distinguish. The LG 88 and the LG 91 in particular are often confused.

However, you can tell these two air guns apart by the serial number.

The LG 88 has a serial number up to 503500, the LG 91 from 503501.

Cylinders:

• the LG 88 has a short grey cylinder that doesn't protrude from the stock
• the LG 91 cylinder looks out and has recesses on the stock at the back

• We recommend using cleaning wicks.
• Apply a small amount of oil to the barrels of guns manufactured after 2014 (WD40 is recommended).
• Then pull dry once.
• Clean older barrels without oil.
• How many wicks you have to use depends on the caliber of the gun (observe the manufacturer's information on the wicks).
• Cleaning with cleaning felts is also possible.
• Please purchase cleaning accessories from specialist retailers.

• The height of the sighting line on delivery is approx. 5 cm.
• Including accessories, a maximum height of 8 cm can be achieved. This height has been permitted since January 1^st, 2023.
• It is possible to lower the height of the sight from 5 cm to approx. 4.75 cm.

The flawless function has been tested and guaranteed down to minus 15 degrees.

• You need two conventional AAA batteries (1.5 volts).
• However, the brand is not relevant.
• We recommend replacing the battery once a year.

With two full batteries you can fire up to 25,000 shots.

No, absolutely not!

• If the LED at the power button is slow to respond (single slow flash), the batteries are low and need to be replaced.
• Up to 3,000 shots are still possible in this state.
• If the LED reacts quickly when switched on (single rapid flashing), there is sufficient capacity.

• Our weapons are freely available and therefore have less than 7.5 joules. Thus, the recommended speed with e.g. Ammunition 0.53 g = 168 m/s.
• If there are deviations, there is the external V0 setting which is installed as standard from the model Challenge.

• The Steyr stabilizer is ideally designed for our match weapons.
• The stabilizer is adjusted at the factory so that the air rifle is recoil-free.

No! Our weights are designed not to affect the recoil and vibration.

• Our guns work WITHOUT oil!
• Except for the nickel-plated barrels, all parts are anodized or otherwise coated with high quality.
• We recommend only lightly oiling the loading lever. ATTENTION: Do not bring any oil into the system!

Yes, this is possible.

All you need is the MEC Contact III butt plate itself. You can use the same screws as before.

You just have to screw the rod of the Steyr cap onto the MEC Contact III butt plate (rear plate).

• Wooden stock rifles (e.g. LGB 1, Pro X, H5/H5A, Challenge Hunting, …) - without stock
• Multi-shot rifles – with the magazine
• Challenge - without butt stock

We recommend NOT sending wooden stocks to avoid cracks or breaks.

Remove heavy accessories such as filling adapter or air cylinders from the case.

Yes, you can use a duplex with the Steyr diopter.

Please note, however, that this limits the adjustment options (left + right / high + low).

The through hole of the standard iris peepsight on the Steyr diopter is 1 mm.

• Yes you can, unless it is a diopter from the LGB 1. Then it is a diopter from Anschütz and should be sent to Anschütz for the repair.
